CERROBEND
There are many uses for CerrobendTM but in woodworking it is mainly used for the decoration of turned or carved pieces.  Fairly simple to use, all that is required is a ladle in which to melt the alloy and an old saucepan or similar for hot water.  Cerrobend is normally used for bending pipes and tubing.  When set the tube is bent without distortion of its sectional profile. The cerrobend is then melted out and can be reused.  Can also be used for casting “pewter” figures etc.,
Cerrobend is the trade mark of cero metals U.S.A.
