A cheaper alternative ? Why not modify your existing lathe, whatever make it is
If you already have a lathe, and you want to change it to variable speed, why not keep it and modify it at a lot less than the price of a variturn ?
Have a look at the “variable speed” page, we can supply a kit modify your existing lathe for as little as £420*
*This depends whether you have a suitable motor, that can be modified to suit and whether you deliver/collect or use a carrier service. This is based on you dismantling and re- fitting the new variable kit (which is quite straight forward).
